Karangtaruna Pambudi Luhur

 Karangtaruna pambudi luhur was formed in January 2018. Pambudi luhur comes from the Java language which means noble character. Actually this karangtaruna has existed since the first, but in the year 2010-2017 experienced the organization vacuum. Members include all young men and women in my village. 



 The structure of Karangtaruna Pambudi Luhur:

Like other organizations, karangtaruna pambudi luhur also has an organizational structure. Consists of protector, advisor, chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and each section. There are several sections in karangtaruna pambudi luhur including: religious section, business section, section of equipment, sports section, public relations section, consumption section, and others.

 There are many advantages if you follow karangtaruna village activities. Such as you can experience organize, friendship between friends of the village, add friends, sharpen the soul of leadership,there we can hone our speech skills ,add a sense of responsibility and much more.

Karangtaruna pambudi luhur has many work programs that touch people. For example in the near future will hold fasting together, then takbir tour, and there is also halal bihalal after Ramadhan.

Bedegolan Dam

Bedegoaln Dam is located in my village of Korowelang Village Kutowinangun District Kebumen District. Exactly on the border between Korowelang Village, Jlegiwinangun and kabuaran.
About 5 minutes north of my house.

This dam was built in the Dutch colonial era, precisely in 1902 and was named Kiyai Bedegolan. Until now this dam is approximately 116 years old.

In the southern part of this dam complex there is one place that is sacred by the surrounding community namely petilasan kramat sunan geseng accompanied by an old tree.

To the east and west are the rice fields.
To the north is a dammed river.
The dam is facing south. The dammed river called bedegolan river, is the main tributary of the northern wadaslintang dam.
This dam has a total area 8166 Ha.
The length of the dam is about 30 meters south with one water gate. 





Its height is 10 meters. 

While overlooking the west along the 5 meters high 10 meters and equipped with 4 water gates.
To go down there are 2 steps.

 
All the building construction here is a rock foundation that is very strong because of the Dutch heritage.
Every dated 1 August this dam is drained and many people in 5 sub-districts are kutowinangun, prembun, padureso, poncowarno and crowded ambal busy looking for fish here.

Between Love and Power

Long time ago in java lived 2 king who are  king Baduga and King Rajasanegara.
King Baduga has a very beautiful daughter that is Pitaloka.King Rajasanegara fell in love with the woman and wanted to marry the child of the king of Baduga. In addition to searching the empress, on the other hand the intention of the marriage was to tighten the rope that has long broken off between the two kingdoms. The wedding plan wants to be in a degree in the men's palace. But one of the family members of the women's side disagreed. Because according to the prevailing customs in the archipelago at the time, it is not unusual for the bride party to come to the groom. But the women's families want to come and also willing to hold a wedding ceremony at the male family's palace in the king's palace Rajasanegara. At the time of the trip, their entourage stopped briefly in the field to rest. Then King Baduga ordered one of the guards to come to the kingdom of Rajasanegara king to inform the men that the bride party will soon arrive at the king's place.

 Hearing the news arose the cunning intention of the Patih of Rajasanegara king who was in the palace to rule the kingdom of the king of Baduga by slaughtering their entourage. Without the knowledge and permission of the king Rajasanegara, patih moved all armies to surround and slaughter the troupe. Arriving at the scene there was a rivalry between the Patih of the groom and the Patih of the bride's party. Patih of the bridegroom wants the bride to be submitted for the tribute of the submission not to be consort. While the Patih of the bride's group insisted on its establishment of delivering the bride to be empress of Rajasanegara king and even the patih of the bride's group while cursing Patih of the bridegroom because of his cunning and unworthy of such cowards as royal patrons. Patih of the bridegroom was finally angry and ordered all his troops to surround and slaughter all the troops out. The war was raging, the troops were very unbalanced because the Patih of the bridegroom brought all his forces in large numbers while the troupe of the bride entourage consisted only of the king's bodyguards and members of the royal family alone. Until finally the king of Baduga died, knowing that happened, the bride was mourning her father's death then with the feeling of knight he did defend Pati is killing himself for the family, the State, and to maintain his honor.

Army of Patih the groom is satisfied Because it has conquered the new kingdom and gain an absolute victory. But when he returned home and arrived at the palace, the Patih was immediately fired by the king Rajasanegara for being presumptuous, and interfere with personal affairs of the king. The Patih also realized and apologized to the king and in the end then excused to leave the palace and become a hermit on a mountain.
